my 06 has 21,996 mi on it and the n light was flickering i had already cut out the kick stand safety.... when we pulled my n switch and put a meter to it it was bad. if your worried about the temp change you coolant to engine ice or redline or something of that sort also i bought the muzzy 6 blade alu fan for $36 from schintz that should help your temp out

No I get that pissy smell every now and then too, usually when over 200 degrees sitting in traffic or a light. Smelt it today as a matter of fact. I was sitting there wondering if...haha...well, a dude walked by and I kinda thought I was smelling his BO or something, I was like gees what the Hell...looking around and s--t, but cat **** sounds more like what I was smelling now that you say that. No fear your ok. putting in the super cool tonight!
