2006 honda cbr 1000rr question
 
just bought this bike was wondering how much it would cost me to get swing arm back to stock do you think this is to long or should i just leave it alone....any reply would be helpful neg or pos bought this bike because it was in good price rangehttp://cdnmedia.endeavorsuite.com/im...20130201132645 thanks in advance

Shouldn't be too hard to find someone who will want to swap their stock components with yours. Have them pay the labor (or do it themselves). Pretty attractive deal IMO

Yeah, main thing is will probably be buying a new chain i'd think, but if you can find somebody who wants to trade up that would be awesome. I don't hate extended swingarms personally, but the wheel sticking out farther than the tail does look silly.

Yea it won't stay like that for long my mechanic said he would remove the extension blocks and take a few links out the chain that should get me back to stock....

Thanks a lot they sold me on the paint as well and the sound was sweet bike was taking good care of so the shop records say.....has 11000 miles on it...gonna use it to ride to and from work...

got the new bike and some times its hard to keep off the throttle find myself on highway 85 doing 147 before i knew it...scary

Yeah, I went from a f4i to a 1000rr and the power creep is insane. The 1000 is so much smoother than the 600 it's difficult to know how fast you're going until you look down.
