just pik up 08 1k. i have more fun in the low and mid range. also don't mind the quiet note. do i need to make any changes to the bike. please help.

 

That's entirely up to you, of course. Personally, I thought my '05 Repsol was loud enough, but it wasn't longbefore I wanted a slip-on.

The rear fender would be the first thing I would get rid of, but that's just me.

 

Gets me thinking, i wonder how a 07 nose would fit on an 08 I would maybe get one then.

 

it isnt truly "yours" until you modify it in some way. i have 08 Limited Edition and have put Gold Marchesinis on it with Galfer wave front and back and Michelin Pilot Power tires. my 2bros slip on with Juice Box will be here 4-11. Solo seat cowl is on order from Honda and dark tint double bubble is being shipped on 4-25 from Puig. as soon as Pazzo makes some levers and i can get a Fender Eliminator then that will be added as well.

 

If you like it stock save yourself some green and enjoy, buy some riding gear or something.

But yeah, everything needs a mod........

Don't know why honda didn't integrate the rear turn signals like they finally did up front. And where is the gear position indicator and is there a fuel gauge on this bike?

I just can't part with my repsol, thought about trading it in but nope can't do it. Can't trade in my gixxer 1k either. Love that thing. Maybe I should just have another. Uhhhh I just wanted to get a commuter bike and the badass bike fever hits.

marche..rims..nice.. hey btw no gear indicator however it does have a feature where you can see the fuel miles left in tank and whatfuel itaverages out..pretty cool.
