Hello all,

I’m considering installing a Brembo RCS 19 on my ‘08 1000RR.

Is anyone familiar with how much work it will be to make the brake light switch wiring compatible? I presume there will be some soldering, but I’m not sure what, if any other tools will be necessary.

I also plan on using the current brake fluid reservoir. I will have to buy a new bracket. Does anyone see a problem with this plan?

I appreciate any advice in advance.

 

Usually, the switch just plugs in like your current one does - two spade connectors.
