good post !
i like hearing the part where they've shaved the front rotors from 5.0 to 4.5 since i have a set of 05 front rotors with 1315 miles on them (FWiW right is 4.41 and the left is 4.35 thick) ... the way i see it mine are almost as good as the 06 ;-) haha

A quick question the 06 model we get is set to have a Black swingarm as standard i noticed the pics didn`t have this. Is this because its a test bike or don`t you get it in the U.S?

Every "first look" picture I've seen for the the US 1000RR has the silver or aluminum look swing arm. I was hoping for black on the US bikes myself.

me too. there are only 2 drawbacks that i have with the cbr1000rr's. the silver swingarm and the single front headlight. i know these are minor, but for some reason they bother me.
