Anyone can tell what's different between 05 and 06 1000RR ECU, Can 06 1000RR ECU on 05 1000RR model ?

 

Im sure 04-05 would work, and 06-07 would work together, but I don't think 05-06 will work. It might plug into the harness, but the 06 engine had different timing and a different tune. Wether or not the ECU was tuned differently, I'm not sure, but I think it would be different. I would look for an 04-05 ECU. but again, this is just an assumption.

 

it will work, I used to have a 07cbr1000rr and yes it has different timing ect. but the ecu will work. answer your question. If anything best thing is order the correct year/model part. why not order your year?
