thanks the fairings were 500 from china, actually excellent quality the paint is flawless and the plastics are injection moulded

man you did an incredible job. New plastics really look awesome. how much did u pay for the bike and how many miles the bike had when you bought it? Bike looks like it didnt sustain that much damage, it looks like the dude might have endoed ?

How did you go about putting the new fairings on? I have an 05 (same style as the 04) and i thought that 06 or later wouldn't fit properly? I'm actually about to buy a fairing kit myself, and if i could get a "refreshed" look, that'd be awesome.

It's actually not that hard, you have to move the ecu wiring, extended the fan wiring and remove the 05 radiator overflow and put a smaller one in its place, Im away from home at the moment but I'll be back in a few days the side fairings are already off I'll take some detailed pics for you of what you have to do its very straight forward
I'll post the pics here within a week

I paid 2600 it's got 12000km on it, the damage was minimal it was just a low speed drop

Hey Oz, just wondering about the update. You can PM me if needed be, but i'm sure others want to see what you did too. I'm about to pull the trigger on some fairings, but i really wanna know what i'm jumping into first. Thanks!
