OK guys. I think that Shadow's original point was not really to have everyone list their locals in this thread, but to get those whose profiles don't have a location listed to update their profiles to include this info. I'm looking at you, neolowrider and klpepiz. That way, your location will show up in every post you make, and when you start a thread saying your looking for a new thigamagig others will know how far away from them you are. There are people on this board from all over the world- Shadow"s from South Africa- and shipping from South Africa to, say, Chicago USA, might be more than it's worth for a lot of stuff. If your profile shows your current locale, Shadow (and everyone else) won't have to guess or ask where you live.
