What you think

RE: What you think
on the facts that you decide to buy a 1000cc bike for good fuel economy umm then you should be looking for a smaller internal combustion engine.
yes i see the thread related to the link however the link has been deleted but the economy that hcop is gettin is a little heavy which could be for a number of reasons which have been discussed,
shadow you think i have a problem with you u decide i dont have time for guys that brag on about the're doing 200klm everywhere they go, sure in the right place at the right time which as i suggested should be on a race track not on busy public roads if you think that was an unjustified comment then so be it p.s sorry for hijacking thread

RE: What you think
I was going to ignore you, JB, but my annoyance I confess got the better of me......
My problem with you, JB is that you never have anything constructive to say about anything.
If you look back at all the comments you have made about people on this forum, there's not one constructive piece of useful information, which to my way of thinking is not what this forum is about.
I notice you do not respond to my comments concerning the distance to the nearest track - nor to the fact that my average speed was only 7MPH above the national speed limit - as for "bragging" - the point I was making, which you clearly missed, was that my new regulator/rectifier was performing at certain levels and at certain speeds, as a guideline to others on the forum as to what is to be expected from that particular brand of reg/rec(which some of them have purchased), and that's what the thread was about. If you see that as "bragging" - that's your problem....perhaps you are frustrated that the UK's stiff with cameras and you CAN"T go fast without losing your licence. Don't take it out on me........
If you wish to be offensive to people, and take some sort of moral high ground about speeding, go ahead- no-one's saying motorcycles are safe - my position has always been one of travelling at a speed which is within my limitations and at minimal risk to other road users. And I guarantee you've never even SEEN a freeway or any public road in South Africa, so how can you talk about "busy roads" ? And yes, FLOGGER, absolutely right, thanks.
And if you object to speed, except on the track, why in G..s name are you riding one of the fastest touring bikes around ?- the comment you made to someone comes to mind - "if you want economy, buy a 50 ped"- perhaps you should take a leaf out of your own book, and stick to scooters........or cricket - I see the Black Caps could do with a little help.
Sorry, Hardcorp ,for the hijacked thread.......

RE: What you think
i dont think i was being offensive at all,im sure alot of riders here would agree with me saying that if you want to do 200km's+ take it to the track, kaine arnt just good for top speed my friend even though i ride mostly central london the shear torque/power has goten me out of a lot of sticky situations where a less hp bike wouldnt, as for me making negative comments thats your opinion and the fact that you are the only person who has stated so proves alot about your shovanistic attitude on this forum, that fact that on your own bike you have replaced the rr unit 6 times starts me thinking do you actualy know much about bikes?
i dont have a problem with you shadow u say i dont say anything constructive thats your opinion if you dont like what i say ignore me? or maybe you have nothing else to do with yr time, and they coment you made about yr reg performing at certain levels and certain speeds is pretty random if its charging over 15.5v you have a problem below 13.5v you have a problem can see how you have to do 200kmph to test that lol
i am not frustrated with the UK rules they are actualy alowe you more freedom than in NZ and dont see where i say im taking out on you maybe you would like to show me where i ever said that, how you can ride "at minimal risk" to other road users at 200k when yr tire blows or someone pulls out from a side road is just a load of rubbish, um 12 million people in london alone and 60 million in the UK and i havnt seen a busy road, yip ok
and where did i complain about my bikes economy? not once im happy to pay for a rather heavy consuming bike orelse i would have a ped,
you want to talk about cricket i remember a certain safa who got life ban.. not sure we do that in nz,
and i do like this commment you made :My average speed is generally around 80 MPH, PLENTY of "race and chase", up to and beyond 150MPH, and I get the bike up to 100MPH every time I ride it - I maybe that why i said you should be suited to track riding or im sure there are more MX tracks in safa land
anyway i thank other forum lurkers for there comments and i for you shadow will try my best to be more productive on this forum.

RE: What you think
You know, there seems to be a hell of a lot of keyboard commando work going on in this section lately. I have a huge suggestion for those of you who consider yourself some kind of pseudo-warrior bring it to the off-topic section, where the mother ****ing big boys play everyday. You can find me there. Almost anytime day or night I have been called on the carpet by administrators of this forum. I've gained the respect of the moderators but they also from time to time have had to remind me to come down. I have also personally embarrassed and ashamed more than one member of this forum away for life. The last being ThomasinTexas and MotoGP has resigned to stay out of the off-topic section. So if you want to make offhanded comments or spar with individuals.Just come on up and let's all play. If you want to see what kind of bastard I can be just read. The two posts middle of this page of this thread. If you want to see how big a Dick, I really can be read all of them. We very seldom get moderators or administrators attention in this section, but I can help make sure that we have full-time attention here

I consider this a sacred section of the forum. For open discussion on this particular model with a wealth of collective knowledge in motorcycling. And respect its dedicated knowledgeable members as you should all
BTW JB. I only extended an apology after shadow, informed me that the link was dead. I felt your comments were from a smart *** bloke with a chip on his shoulder
