RE: What happened to my gas mileage?
SeaFoam works miracles. It is an additive that can be added to fuel, oil or vacuum lines. it is basically a petro-based cleaner. I have used it for years. works great, very recommended by many mechanics. I had an older ford truck with a sticky lifter. used seafoam through a few oil changes.. and magic!

I've used it but be careful not to use too much and DO NOT put in your crankcase or you WILL ruin your clutch plates!!!!!!
Just use it in your fuel a bit at time .Too much and it will smoke like a son of a *****..................

Appears to solve his problems otherwise he wouldn't use it. He did tell me to make sure I mix it according to the Direction/Instructions.

RE: What happened to my gas mileage?
The last 2 fillups I'm getting about 32-34 mpg
I have found the fuel gauge can change how it reads on a couple of occasions, usally after a service of something. (I have a troll living under my fairing, playing with my wires)

RE: What happened to my gas mileage?
DOH!...I just filled up with high octane to see if that would help. Oh well...live and learn. I did figure out one thing that changed when my mileage did and that was where I bought the gas. One station 2 fillups 42+ mpg. Different station 2 fillups 33- mpg. Going to try a different station next fillup along with the carb sync and other routine maint.
