Water Injection

@ hueristic,
The pop-off valve and condensate return was in response to Seb's post about his deisel
My question to you is, have you done a leak down test for the valves and/or the rings?
Part of the gist of the article you linked did mention starting with a good motor
But for s&g's, rough math and I'm bad at math
Comp ratio at 1 atmosphere = cylinder pressure x the cc's of uncompressible H2O in the same environment + or - the volume of atomized air/fuel mixture at intake pressure = the amount of additive, or so?
To me, X does not still equal Y
Hey Seb,
I'm just a worker bee. All I know is that the boiler guys sh*t a brick if I leave certain valves open for too long

The only advice I give to you in that case, is go out and flog it. If she blows, she blows. If not. she's your girl.
Then treat her right
...and with 10% ethanol fuel. Aren't we all adding alcohol injection?
Otherwise, despite arguments pro or con, aren't we all just spitting into the wind?
Gawd, I love a good pun!

I never said get rid of the 1000F though Woofer......lol. Seems an awful lot of work for some more horsepower that's all. But as I always say each to their own. I respect others mods and opinions even if its something I wouldn't do. I hope Hurestic achieves what he wants to with his mod even though I have no idea what he is talking about....LMAO.

You're welcome!
googled "water injection for naturally aspirated engines" There's a few good articles about it. Eliminating pinging and de-carbonizing the internals seem to be the main benefit in that application.
There is a kit out there for fuel injected BMW bikes. It looks like the water injectors mount as a second fuel rail on the intake manifold. I'll see if I can find it again
