Default Valve adjustment

Hi all

I have read the valve adjustment guide, and was wondering how much easier the honda tool makes the job?

Its £38 odd pounds for a hollow 10mm socket with a handle on it.

I already have a deep 10mm socket and a long reach 3mm hex key. Is it worth the outlay?

I just ground the sides of my socket so I could hold it with a crescent wrench. I used a long screw driver down the center and did the final tightening with the wrench/socket.

That what I like to hear

The adjustment bolt, is it a hex key or a flat head? Service manual says 3mm hex?

I thought mine was a flathead but could be wrong. Ill take a look and let you know

I've got spares like crazy. The 87 is a flat head.
