Default RE: turbo

The only reason the exhaust was so simple and unoptimized was the fact I wanted to keep the turbo high so I could gravity drain the oil back into the pan. It has to drain back above oil level or else you are into a whole mess of one-way check valves and electric pumps to get the oil back into the engine.

OK I see, yes I have read about some projects in Sweden where people have a hard time to control the oil flow. Here is a linky to the combo you meantioned earlier http://www.ndmoto.com/PGShow.asp?pgID=15

Nice find. I had a link to a site by a guy from the UK. It was dedicated to turbo motorcycles and had a place where you could upload pics and descriptions of your project. I can't find it now, I think I got it off the Yahho Turbobike mailing list, but that has gone to hell now and is nothing but spam. Most of the info I got when I was doing my build came from people on your side of the world (sweden, netherlands etc). Wish I could find it again, it had a really nice 900rr with a turbo 1100 motor in it, along with just about every other kind of bike as well.

Edit: I found it! http://www.turbo-bike.com/

Perhaps this is the one, thatI found rightnow on a Swedish link page for turbo projects. http://www.cbr900rrt.co.uk/garage/mods/turboblade.htmUnfortuanley the link is dead, lets hope it is just temporary.

I also found a forum that could be good for me to readthat is a complete novice on turbo solutions. http://p197.ezboard.com/fazbiketechfrm9

Edit: Thanks for the link to http://www.turbo-bike.com/
