Question Touring Screen choice?

I've changed the standard screen on my 94 CBRF to a MRA Vario screen in an attempt to reduce the wind to my helmet & shoulders. I've had great success with one on my Africa Twin but it doesn't seem to have helped much. Has anyone got or tried a MRA Touring screen, which is a flip screen with wider shoulders? After spending best part of £100 I don't want to throw good money after bad. Anyone else got any suggestions? Please don't say go faster with all the average speed cameras sprouting up

I fitted a lanier lip to the std screen . Not a huge difference, but definitely helped for me .

I put the MRA Vari-Tour on my '94. With the top full up it put a rumble right in my face. I'm 6' and had Gen-Mar risers installed. The variable panel stayed full down with the exception of traveling in the rain. The advantage then was the downward flow of air just behind the screen was good to clear the helmet shield at highway speed.
Overall I think the extra $40 for the Vari option was wasted. Got to be something better.

Thanks for your reply CB2CBR, I thought it was just me! I emailed MRA in Germany and they replied they'd never been informed of a problem. They asked me to experiment with sticking bits of cardboard to the Vario blade to see if making it bigger would improve the situation. They would then send me a new part to match my cardboard cut-out, it was winter time at that point and enthusiasm was low. Maybe I'll have another play now.
I was hoping to find someone with one of their Touring screens that I may try before buying. I did email someone selling a CBR1000F on eBay with one on for a little feedback but all he had to say was it was fine at 120mph - not much good in the UK
