Michelin Pilot Road 2's on my bike - excellent for all round road work.
others prefer Continental Road Attacks or BT021 Bridgestone.
Definitely no Shinkos or Dunflops !

Hey Coopz, not sure if you're aware of this, but the bike companies put out a tender to the tyre companies to supply tyres for new bikes....this generally means you get the "cheapest quote" tyres fitted by the bike Mnfrs- I'm not sure what tyres your bike came with, but I would recommend a test on some other makes, too...
My 2c worth.....

Perili Strada's are great too, but depending on where you are from they can be a bit pricier. I love them now , handles like a new bike!

I installed a front BMWOEM Spec B'STone 020 for the K1200 & a rear Honda OEM Spec B'STone 020 for the ST1300. I am very satisfied with the performance of these tires and the price was reasonable. My reasoning is the tires designed for the heavier bikes will provide greater mileage. It looks good after 2K miles this year. Be aware the tires are not very sticky on cold mornings!

I've currently got the Pirelli Diablo's on my 1000F. I really like them. I have Dunlop Qualifiers on my F3, but just took it to the track so the tires are shot. Cycle Gear is having a sale on May 17th for the PIRELLI Diablo Supersportat $169 for a set, front and back. I'm going to pick up a couple of sets for me and the mrs.
