Throttle hand going numb

Your VistaCruise will help alot. Make a conscience effort to relax your grip and move your hand every 20-30 mins. Vibration will get to you so eliminating it is the start. Well tuned carbs/engine. Counter balancer adjusted correctly too. Insulate yourself is next with some soft grips. They will help with the pressure spots too. You might consider gel gloves as well. On the cross country runs change up your foot position from the regular heel hook on the peg to the ball of your foot. This changes where your but hits the seat and then translates to your wrists and hands.
Having a strong core/abbs will better support the body weight and put less on the hands.
I'm no iron butt, but this has given me some longer range.

Hudson91. I put vfr 750 bars on mine to give a slightly more upright riding position. Early vfr800 bars will fit too and a few guys here have used risers or after market bars too. My hand used to go really numb in quite a short time but much better now. Foam grips will help but I'd advise not to get the 'touring' ones. I tried a set of these and found they were too fat and had no feel at all. Now I'm using 'sport' foamies and they're pretty good but I'll be fitting a set of gel ones soon as I've heard good stuff about these. Heavier bar end weights might help and I recently resd about somebody filling their bars with silicone.
Carb balance might help a bit too. I hope this helps mate.

Well I had the same problem.... mine did not have the weights and no bar ends... I put them on. Still had the problem...I replaced the tires.... and found the front wheel bearings locked. All I can say is I am lucky.... could have sent me over the bars at any moment. Oh... the vibration is gone. Now mine was at speed..... 40+
