There's a tropical cyclone passing north of us and we're expecting to catch the edge of it, with 4-6 inches of rain in the next 12 hours, high winds and generally poor riding conditions.......
Typical - it's Sunday when all the bikes are generally on the road here. Pffft

The Cruise ships have been diverted from going to Mozambique, for fear of running into it.........nothing worse than a boat full of puking tourists Yuk !

Let's hope this time the weather forecasters are wrong (they generally are) ...........

We won't die of thirst for sure.

It's chucking down ATM - steady downpour. Wind hasn't picked up too much - maybe 25 MPH . The next 12 hours will be a bit soggy for sure.

 

I don't think the worst of it has hit us yet, but already retaining walls have been washed away etc etc.

My pool level has gone up about 5" so far

As at 18.20 - an hour ago about 7 miles from where I live.
