as a newbie i was having a difficult time starting the beast. many threads i read also have had problems. i fouled the plugs twice b4 i found what works best. full choke/usually dies on first hit/crack open throttle about 1/4 way/crank with throttle open/. cranks every time. thanx to all cbr 1000f peeps who contribute to a great forum!!!

It's a bit nackie, my beast starts sweet now. 3/4 choke whichrevs it to 1.5k, let it sit while i put my helmet and gloves on, choke off.
