Wow, nice pictures! Looks like a graet bunch of people.
For some reason I didn't realize there was snow in Australia. Maybe I've been watching too much Mad Max.

I used to live(16 yrs) literally at the base of Melbourne's closest snow covered mountain .. right next to the river that runs at the base...it Mt Donna Buang ..........it was chilly in winter ..
Now I am 2 hrs from it ... no snow here at the beach ..

Both,in the snow fields- skiing,boarding.
Areas of "The dividing range" which runs the East Coast of Aussie, plenty of deep snow for [usualy] 4 -5 months in the Winter. Were talking N/E Victoria & Border region of NSW.
Hey,im just over 1 hour from Melbourne ,get "Snowed in" at least once a year.......

Snow in Australia
well fortunately i heard about a ski resort in South Africa a few moths ago, so i am not even surprised anymore
After all you are not as far from south pole anyway
Still looking from here i have always thought that there is like +40 Celsius all the time Mad Max may have a big influence on that thought

Our temp ranges from snowy and cold to 55c 140F in the desert sun..
Near the coast is usually a bit more civil as far as temps go mate ..
Last summer here ...I was on an iron roof installing a Cooler to a house and I had a remote thermostat with me sitting on top of the unit in the sun, 58C / 146F it got too,... in the sun near the iron roof... fuc&^$ing boiling!!!!!!
I was melting and close to passing out ..
I pulled the pin and packed up then headed immediately to the drive through booze shop , bought 4 ice cold cans of Bourbon and Coke, then hit the beach ..3 minutes away ..where I just stripped to my underpants and fell in the bloody water to recover and began to re hydrate with my coldies at a rapid rate...yummmmo they were that day mate
