Talking stripped down carbs again!!!

Hi Guys,
My bike has been revving very poorly around 5k to 8k, just had no guts. I stripped the carbs down March last year and cleaned the jets but still had a flat spot and couldn't work it out, so I took them off last night. The jets where clean!!!

I reset the floats because No2 looked like it was flooding and the intake manifold was wet as well, so I reset them all and they were way out. Put her back together and it seemed to run better.

I set the idle this morning and took her for a ride, well what a Fu#########ng difference, it's like a new bike and now I can see what you guys mean about being a fast bike!!!! It was so gutless before and now it's goes like a rocket!!!!
I would suggest if yours isn't running well take the carbs off and reset the floats.
Cheers,
Robbie

Now you know what we mean when you hit 6000 and the Hurricane just takes off.
Glad you found the problem.
Now you'll really enjoy the bike.

Thanks guys, I forgot to mention I synchronized them while out as well as I don't have vac gauges. They were out as well and I think it all added up to make to make it run like crap.

Im wandering if anyone can tell me where to look to find out what size mm my carbs are? I am also wandering if anyone can tell me what factory jet sizes are? I have a neighbor that has a micro gocart/mini sprint and this thing keeps running fat and wont clean out till way high in rpm's.. thanks guys

Check the main Hurricane page - manuals.
https://cbrforum.com/forum/workshop-...anuals-101309/

All specs should be in there.
Sounds like your friend's kart is running rich - adjustments to lean it out are possible.
