Default Stock Exhaust Info

Can anyone tell me any identifying things on the stock exhaust on the CBR1000F's ? mine is a 94 and I was recently rear ended and sent flying forward and laying the bike down on the left side. Damage was to the fairing support cover which acted like a frame slider hence saving the fairing from damage and the handlebar-clutch lever too.. The exhaust was scratched up as well.. the rear cowling - licence plate area took the main impact. In looking at replacement costs.. it will run $3400 from honda to replace all including the exhausts since we dont think they are stock. They dont say honda on them.. any help would be appreciated.. thanks.. It hasnt been appraised by the insurance co yet.. but i feel it will be totalled since kelly BB is $3080..attached pics of bike

All the parts you need are available on e-Bay
Won't cost you anywhere near those prices, even if you have to repaint, and incl postage.
E-Bay.UK

Here's e-Bay.motors in the US

You may want to consider going for a 4-2-1 exhaust system, to save costs.............

Are you sure your rear wheel/swingarm didn't take any damage ?

Rear enders are one of a bike riders worst nightmares. Very sorry to hear you had one. If you have the time though it's quite reparable & a lot cheaper than any shop. The biggest hassle will be any damage to the swingarm or frame. Have a look at my post (blues bent & buckled bike) & you'll see where I'm at with mine after hitting a tree.

Yes I know its alot higher thru honda and found out the exhaust on the bike is italian. It had WiVv on it and looked it up and is from italy. so still waiting on the womans insurance (infinity) to get on the ball. Havent been able to ride it due to back injury. I read your post Blue about the tree. have looked on craigslist and seen how much others are asking for theirs in case they think of totalling it. If they do, I''d buy it back and fix it. I was able to ride it after the fact and put about 40 miles on it, so sits now at 14,991 miles but then my back went out a few days after the accident so havent been able to since. thanks for all the info..
