I think the standard rear sprocket is a different size on the 1993 bike.

I'm sure if you contacted the seller they would be able to supply you with the right size sprockets for a comparable price, if not exactly the same.

 

Just checked the parts fiche Boru, the '93 has a 42 tooth rear sprocket, the '87 has a 43.
