Sprocket change question
I'm thinking about going +2 on my rear sprocket.
My bike is a low mile excellent shape and I don't want to throw the odometer off from actual. Will going +2 on the rear make that much of a differance? If it's extremely minimal then I'll be ok with it. Also, with a stock front sprocket and going up 2 in the rear, will my stock chain length most likely be ok? Thanks for any input!:icon_beerchug: |
If your speedometer drive is on the front wheel, then changing the sprockets won't make a difference.
I don't have a 1000f, but I think yours does drive off the front wheel. if the pick up is in the trans, like my rr, then it will be off a bit. |
It's a 90, so speedos not off the front wheel. I wonder roughly how far it would be after say, 5000 miles?

have a look at that link. It will give you some numbers to compare,, but not sure about distance. You could get a speedohealer to correct it, if it's electronic. |
