87/88 were reputed to be the quickest at 161 MPH. Later models were almost as quick, but had slightly smaller carb throats,(1mm less) but smoother power delivery. Better brakes as the models went on, 93 up had linked brakes.

My bike sounds almost identical to yours, but I have two pipes......

No idea on quarter mile times - check 'Essential Superbike' I think......
Probably 9's......?

Unless your motor is fresh from the factory floor, no mods, and you carbs, rings & valves etc havent seen wear then im pretty sure you 1/4mile is going to vary from what the manual specs, correct me if i'm wrong... Find your nearest drag strip and run it.

Published 1/4 miles times for a stock bike will run from high 10's to low 11's, depending on the source.
