Default solenoid swap

I was wondering if I could use a solenoid from say, a 600F on my 87 Hurricane 1000, I think mine is bad and need a replacement that's hard to find.
Thanks

The starter solenoid I'm assuming? Part# 35851-MF5-751. Used on 37 different Hondas. Including the 87-90 CBR600F

No problem. If your looking to cross reference parts, I recommend going to servicehonda.com 's website, click on the parts finder (middle of the page), follow the 2 links, and access FicheFinder. Think Bikebandit.com, but with actual Honda part numbers. Also, if you select an item, click the big '?' along the top bar to bring up a cross reference page to see what else it fits.
