ok after reading the post that a 91 and up rear wheel "drops in " i tried something..... from the center of the chain adj bolt on my 88 1000f to the other side is 11 in. and guess what? my 93 zx6e rolling chassis is the same measurement and the swing arms "look" simaliar..i was in the process of replacing the rear tire when i thought hell, i might as well check and see if that ninja wheel will fit on there i am not sure if it is a 5.5 or 5 but its better than the stocker set up....i used the zx wheel, caliper+bracket..i flipped the caliper strut ,removed the chain guard/tire hugger and in less than an hour i was sportin' a 180/50 i didnt even put the chain guard thing on cause it looked so much better....and it rode,steered 1000% better it felt like a totally different bike..the rear brake hose end i had to straighten for routing and YOU would have to come up with the correct hardware to accomodate the large hole on the caliper strut ..fortunatly i repair/build/restore bikes for a living so this was no problem for me..i am going to mount the front end off the ninja to cane as ninja has a wider front wheel....pics soon to come..
