Just wondering what some of you guys have done to your bikes for lighting in the way of safety and/or effects.

I have a friend with a Honda Rebel that has LED rings that light up red in his rear turn signals for add'l running lights. I have another friend who added an LED aux rear brake light that flashes 3 times when the brakes are first applied then stays on solid.

Just interested in seeing what people have done and what's available. I'd like to add some stuff for safety, looks and efficiency but don't know what all is out there for our bikes.

Oh, and pictures would be awesome.

 

I added a LED brake light bar to my license plate. I also put on a set of Hella FF50 driving lights mounted off my mirrors

 

I would like to see a pic of that.

Hmm, I wonder if it would be possible to mount lights like that anywhere else on the front of our bikes. Like, under the headlight or something.

I'm assuming you made those brackets yourself? For some reason I thought they were hanging physically from the side mirrors. Haha!

I was thinking of making a bracket for under the headlight, but realized that the only place to hook onto was the upper fairing bracket, and that had zero mounting holes I could bolt into. The only other place I can think of would be to mount to the brake calipers or maybe one of the kits that mount to the fork legs. And yes, I made those brackets out of 5150 aluminum and a cut off wheel.
