Default Short 1000cc rider?

Ok this might sound like a dumb question, But how tall are you Hurricane 1000 riders. My previous bike (a few years ago) was a 600 Ninja, and I had lowered it, I know these are big bikes, found an amazing deal on a bike listed just as a Hurricane...Me thinking it was a 600 I was all about it, Now I find its an 87 Hurricane 1000. So I dont know if its going to be too much bike for me, Im short, especially in the legs haha. So lemme hear your thoughts and also can someone direct me to some threads with what to look out for on these bikes.

$450 or best offer, It just had the motor went through (Im assuming chains from what I read on here), But its supposed to run and ride amazing, the guy lost the key and his brother took the rear wheel off to get a new tire mounted and lost the hardware to put it back on, and there is a dent in the tank, Clean title. I think its a great deal cause I am looking for a project anyway

Om a six footer..........when I put the Corbin Seat on mine it dropped a couple
of inches for me.

When you order a Corbin you can have them customise it quite a bit
i.e width of seat pan , height of seat pan, amount of padding etc.

I would not get into lowering the CBR much.....not to say it can't be done
but if you go lower I'd say you'd have to stiffen it up a bit 'cause there'd
be less travel allowed in the suspension.

Just an opinion is all

I dont mind fabrication anything to make it work, Its fun for me, my daily driver is a bagged and shaved Toyota if that says anything. So is lowering a CBR not recomended? My Ninja was dropped a good amount, and I rode it everywhere that way. Anyone else have any input
