To sell or not to sell, that is the question
I have been looking for a 1994. My 88 has 45k miles and is super sound mechanically, not so much cosmetically. I have found two 94’s within 3 hours of me that look to be in great shape. One has 18k and the other 23k. They both have v and h 4 to 1 exhausts. I have had mine for 13k and am very familiar with it. Mine has stock exhausts. Anyone switch from an early model to ’93 plus or have any thoughts. I can make the transition for $500-.

Go for it, not much riding difference at all.

You know the V&H are loud right? (especially compared to stock cans)
Recently sold my clean 1st Gen. and went into V-4 territory. It only stung for about a day and better to have another treat it as his first ride. For that price, I think the bike improvements are worth it. Good Luck. |

Loyal to the end with my 87 Hurricane. Depends on how much you love your bike. I fell in love with my bike at first sight. Their might be better things out there, but I going to keep my first love. $500 and the internet can help the cosmetics of any bike. One day way down the road I am going to get more bikes, but there will sit my Hurricane beside them. This is me and me alone. Follow your gut.
