Default Newbiemy exhaust thoughts

Hello everyone!!! I will say the bike runs good,but is VERY heavy and heavy on the front tire!!!!
I've been lurking for a few days and have gone through the search on exhaust.
I wanted to just get new double slip-ons(don't want to put a block plate in),but seems the only one I can find is Laser for 750$ !!
So,I may just go with the full Vance and Hines system.I am aware that it is loud,a matter of fact I also own a 1982 CBR900F-SS and it has a V&H megaphone W/K&N pods and jetted,which allows me to run it with baffle and packing out for total loudness,just baffle in for medium loudness and baffle and packing in for as quiet as I can make it.I do lose some low end with the loudness set-up,but more on top.
What's the diff between the V&H SSR2 and the Supersport system? Is there a sound diff?
Are they both loud?I know I will need to Jet it.
I worry about getting a black coated exhaust as I don't think it will last long.(rust etc)
Anyway,I can't decide,but will soon as the stock exhaust I can't even hear hardy at all.
Anyways........[sm=icon_guiness.gif]

I can tell you the SS was more than $100 cheaper when I purchased. Loundness went from a loud throaty to ear peircing scream above 5K rpm.
The flat spot around 5K was annoying and even though I ride mostly coastal Pacific Hwy, I drew CHP on my a$$ to run my numbers when letting the ponies run.
The can is first rate but the black finnish did start rust spotting within a year requiring sanding and touch up.

I've seen and heard the SSR2 (similar at low revs) at bike stops and probably would get it if I bought again.
See if you canbeat this price.

Wow, that seems to be a killer price for the ss2r system. I paid just over $300 for a Two Bros slip on about 3 years ago. I wonder what jetting changes would be recommended for the VH pipe?
