I bought a sheepskin cover for mine but there's a guy at work who rides a nice BMW who made his own for sod all $$. I think he used one of those "lamby" covers you use for kid's cots etc. The sheepskin I've got on mine is is seriously comfy and I think you could knock something up really cheap that would do the same job. An amateur job with vinyl could look pretty dodgy without the right gear to shape it, but the sheepskin would be pretty easy to do...Just a thought..Seriously comfy..

I had mine re done for $40 AUD at a motor trimmers ... they are good peeps to do bike seats and because they are a small job they can do them in a flash mate ..![](http://www.cbr-riders.com/forum/images/smilies/smiley20.gif)
I have never tried motor trimming , so I have no idea how hard it would be to do them ...sorry ...![Icon Shrug](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_shrug.gif)

I did mine in black vinyl, make sure you heat the material with a hair drier as you go and pay attention to the hole for the petrol tap as that bit is very awkward to do.

Trick with the Petcock hole is not to cut it in until after you pin it down all round the pan
and even then go easy .....those hobby shop "scalpel" type knives are a good tool for the
job.........Recovered my other "original" seat after I sprung for the Corbin. I use it for
Rainy Day Riding mostly........being vinyl and all

I've seen it done on youtube , but the seat on there was a lot simpler to do , I'll give a few more upholsterers a ring , last price I got was £80 , if I shop around a bit more I might get a bargain .

My seat was £65 but you'd need postage on top of that

give him a ring and see how much
