Well yesterday was a very sad day for me. fractured my collar bone while working on a roof for a friend. Ladder was not seated right on fell back and i landed on the ground. And since that happened I cannot ride any more for awhile so the wifey decided it was time to sell the bike stating that it is winter now and it will be parked so lets get you a car and we can find you a new bike once your healed up and it is summer. So We listed the car for sale yesterday afternoon for a pretty fair price and next thing i know i get a call from a guy who wants to trade me his car(1994 Ford Mustang GT) and 1000 bucks for my bike. So we trade and now i have a car and will be looking for a bike for the summer again. Anyways thanks for all the help and be safe riding this winter if you plan on riding year round.

yeah i was lucky was not too far up but it was high enough that it fractured my collar bone. anyways I plan on sticking around and having fun with you guys. The bike is on its way to California to edwards air force base. and I told the guy about the forum so hopefully he posts up

 

Good to hear you injury isn't too serious - I think if someone offered me a GT Mustang I'd have been very tempted too Especially if I couldn't ride the bike anyway....
Put up some pics of the car - we're motorheads in here, not just 1000F nuts.

Sad, but good you're not hurt worse mate! I hate using ladders (had the bottom of one slide out on me once).

I just had to sell my Mustang (love of my life) last November It makes it even worse that the kid that bought it lives close and I have to see him driving it around all the time. I am sorry about your collar bone, ouch. I hope you heal soon and get another bike next summer! I will always be a Mustang girl. It is even "branded" across my back Here was my baby..
