Replacement Front Brake Hoses CBR1000FK
 

Hi All,
Looking at replacing the front hoses, because of the solid pipework across the mudguard what is the preferred way of replacing with braided hoses?

Has anyone any photos of their conversion they could send me?

I think most people go for what's called the 'race' set up, which is a separate line to each caliper.

You'll dispense with the solid pipework altogether.

Thanks for the reply, I did think about that, but just wanted to know if there was a preferred method, I like a symmetrical look.

Because of the factory set-up, it'll only be as symmetrical as you make it
really, it won't be able to follow the factory routing.

Yes, a little play around should sort it? just need to sure if one will need to be longer than the other before I order......
