Default rear shocks

Good morninf everyone,

Does the rear shock absorber from a cbr 1100xx will do on a cbr1000f? If yes, does it require a lot of modification , or if no besides Ohlins which other brand would be good?

Thanks all

I didn't know that any aftermarket shock fit our bikes, atleast not without a lot of modification. I'd be interested infinding something that does work.

Unfortunately because our bike has the bottom part of the shock that connects to the dogbone wider than normal and it uses a very stiff spring it is almost impossible to find anything from another bike that fits.

But compared to here in Australia the price for aftermarket shocks like Penske's etc are cheap over there so I'd just go that route.
