Default Rear brake pedal adjustable?

I recently bought a 1993 CBR1000F with 28,000 miles. The bike runs and looks very good, but I am having a hard time with the shifter and rear brake pedals. They are angled up too high for me. I looks like I can adjust the shifter, but the rear brake pedal looks fixed where it is.

Is there an aftermarket solution for the weird rear brake pedal? Any way to adust it?

Thanks,
Chris

Adjusting shift or brake pedal position is one option. A different pair of riding boots is also key...that's what happen to me, I was riding with a pair of cheaper boot ($70) and adjusted pedal accordingly...boots broke in, then very comfortable...later on, saw a pair of Gaerne on eBay...cost $255 but low starting bid, I won with $100....boots came, wow! Italian leather! High grade, quality made, then try riding on my bike, total different setting. So before you decide to adjust any shift or pedal...make sure you are settle with which boot your riding with...

You can definitely adjust the brake pedal on an 87 because I did with mine.

I have had that experience when switching boots before too. This is not the case here. The brake pedal is abnormally high. It wouldn't matter what boots you were wearing.

Cool. I'll look again, but I don't see any way to adjust it. Hopefully they are the same pedal set up on the 93.

Thanks for the info.

From memory I had to take it off and the adjustment nut is on the shaft of the master cylinder. I had to do mine a couple of time until I was happy with my foot position.

Thanks for all your help. After your advice, I looked at the braked pedal arrangement again and could see clearly how to adjust it. Very quick and easy. The pedal feels much more natural now.

Thanks!
