Default proper warm up and suspension feel

I finally got to take the bike out for a decent warm up...put on 45 miles in just a few minutes...lol...damn this thing is fast....I have never had a bike that would break 100mph so quickly...and just a smooth as can be while doing it...hit one our back roads that has lots of twisties and a few long str8s.....took it easy for awhile and did teh curves trying to get the feel of the bike and the suspension and hit the str8s pretty hard, but never got out of 4th except just to drop the rpms and cruise quiet like at about 80...I think I like this bike. I do need to figure some things out though...I noticed a slight wobble in the front if I let go of the bars at any speed...faster is worse of course...I read something about head shake being related to the rear suspension...Im not really sure I understand suspension very well...I read the other post ad am trying to figure out what this bike needs for settings...I know right now I havent touched the damper and have no preload since Im short...the rear seemed to bounce on me going through the turns a bit as it was a rougher road in these spots...Im thinking I need to increase the damping to get rid of this...does this sound right?

Increase damping on rear and rebalance your front wheel.

well....I found that my tires had 25psi rear and 23 front...aired them up and it made a world of difference on the head shake..also I increased the preload 3 clicks and it helped too on the roughness..still havent messed with the damper, but will today to take some more little wiggles out...but overall its 100% better now. thanks

I still feel a little shake in the front, but it seems to be at particular times...right around 3500-4k when in 3rd or 4th....cant remember which when I let go of the throttle....but if I lean forward on the bike and do it...its almost as smooth as glass...I still think its in the suspension, but its not bad...I always forget to check the air in the tires...they look round so they must be full, lol...Im actually still a little low in the rear...sitting at 40..will change that to 42 and see how it is.

You could try dropping the front end a couple of mils, by repositioning the front forks a little further up in the yokes 2-3 mils will improve turn-in and may change the feeling up front. Not too much adjustment, though.........
