yes i acctualy put that on after the paint. i saw it and said i had to put it on the bike lol

 

yea the matte black is staying thats my fav look on anything. gotta tune it and put it back together n she is ready to ride.

 

You considered smoking your indicators? - would look great (Not that it doesnt anyway - but you know what I mean lol)

 

yea i realy want to go for a ride but i gotta figure out whats up with the carbs i cleaned them and im gona sync them i hope it fixes it. once warm it revs good till 4 grand then kinda dies off n comes back i think it may be cause im running it with the airbox off but not sure so tomor eve im gonna pull the carbs again to put the air box in and sync the carbs to see if that helps.
the jets are two sizes bigger then stock it calls for a 120 and mine has 122 mains i think the pilots are oem.


i did think about the smoked lenses but prolly wont pass state inspection with them that way.

 

My experincefrom the past is that, if the carbs were jetted and sync'd to have an air box, then without it, the engine will act just like it does now. Put the box back, with the filter, and try it again. Ihave a feeling it will run just fine or at least much much better.
