Good looking Hurricane, What is the switch on the dash for, NOS???

And the Red light???

 

I can't believe these things keep popping up in these kind of conditions this many years down the road. Nice looking bike. Update your location. Sled and kilo's, Canada eh?

 

The switch is for the fan,the fan does come on but the previous owner
wanted it to be able to switch on the fan earlier,the light is for the alarm
system that has been removed,guess it was to much trouble to remove
or did not want to leave a hole in the dash.

Very nice bike. I own two identical to yours. The second recently purchased as a back up, as body parts are very hard to come by. I have owned mine since 1987 and it is approaching 60k miles. I am impressed with the condition of yours with over 60k. This color is hard to find let alone a bike with body work intact.

 

I have a the same switch mod on my bike too.

Thanks everybody for the nice comments,I was not sure about the colour but after
seeing it in person I was very impressed.Its very cool looking and I don`t see bikes
that colour,also I am so impressed on how the bike is put together and styling.
I don`t like the new bikes because they are so angular and I do think they are
finished as nice,the technology of todays bikes are mind blowing,but I`ll stick to
my Hurricane.I still like the Busa and some other bikes out there but my wallet and
wife don`t.........
