I'm looking for the main wiring harness for an 87 CBR 1000 F as well as a few other parts.If anyone is parting out a bike I sure would like to hear from you.

Hey Hawkeye, where are you based? I'm also looking for some 87/88 parts to Australian compliance my bike.

I've missed out on two being dismantled down here over the last couple of weeks. Let me know what parts other than the loom and I'll keep an eye out for you.

I just got the bike Friday so at this point all I know for sure is the wiring harness,clutch and front brake levers and the foot pegs.I'm guessing I will need the ignition switch also.

If you have this stuff and can get it sent I will get it put on and go from there.

Thanks pmcg,

The only thing I really need is the airbox cove with the 'air-horn' attached. The rest are compliance pieces such as tail light, indicators etc that have to come from an Aussie bike. Just thinking the airbox lid andd horn might be a bit bulky. More than happy to cover postage for it all.

SB I'm not sure what part your talking about but I do have a spare airbox with all of the intake venting. Is this what you need?

 

Sitting on the bike, it is the side under your right leg - the bit that screw onto the airbox with the intake vent attached. I'll look up the part/picture and post it shortly.
