Default Original color

I just looked up the paint code from my frame and saw that the original color was Winter lake blue metallic. I haven't seen this color before. Does anyone have a bike this color and if so can you post a pic please?

Is winter lake blue really that silver color? I saw that in 87 they only came in 3 colors and none are silver.

Yeah, that's the silverish one.

I've never seen one in person. Is it silver or is it blue? I see the tank is blue but is the rest a light blue or silver?

In the photo that the Trout man posted, the tank has a tank bra. The bike has a dark blue color across the upper sections (upper tank and plastic pieces left and right of tank).

I think the color you are asking about is that blue. The silver I believe Honda is calling Atlantic Gray. Look at the third color scheme in this LINK.

^^ Exactly right, TBT. When I linked the pic, I didn't even think about it having the bra on it.

Blue on the top, gray on the bottom.

I edited my last post to add some photos to help clear up the color scheme. The red on the second bike would be where the blue would be. Easier to see the side plastic behind the Flashers.

OK, today I looked around and found some info. In this LINK look at the '89 CBR600. It had a color scheme with Winter Lake Blue. I looked for CBR600 photos with that blue. From what I can tell Your bike has the lighter blue on top. The photos that kilgoretrout and I posted earlier were Honda-Alaska Blue/Atlantic Gray.

I looked around until I could find two bikes with the original factory paint scheme. Hope this helps.
