Default OOOO pick me!

So I finally have the hurricane stormin in the gulf (tx), lol but I'm working on her beauty features and wondering if I can combine my dual exhuast to a single under my tail. ( like the newer rides I've seen) if it would be possible/practical to do a "do it yourself" job on my 94??
thanks for any insight, always appreciated for a newb

Everything is possible - not everything is practical either tho'. Quite a bit of work with
seat rails and fairings if using native 1000F tail end might be easier to chop and
attach a tail from a later model CBR....... just an opinion and you asked.

I've seen it done on an early fireblade with a single side swingarm from a VFR759FL.

Riding in TX is hot enough let alone plumbing hot exhaust under the saddle. A lot of work for ill fated results me thinks.

Your in TX, go big, hang some 55 gal drums off the side instead. LOL

yep is perfectly doable... there is a member on this site who has done just this mod.
I'll post a pic if I can find it.
his is an '88 but there wouldn't be any significant difference if yours is a later model.

here's a pic of the twins;
exhaust wrap and/or a heat shield are obvious answers to the obvious.

Nice **** warmer - looks good too

Later models - you'd need to discard the inner mud
/fender guard plastic

87 88 had the tire hugger so that's be the diff.

So you'd need to work that scenario out

The 55 gallon tank wouldn't fit by the way though my inbred cowboy cusin/brother/dad tried it but his horse and saddle couldn't hold the weight.. Tisk tisk
Anywhoos thanks again y'all I'm off to the ho-down. Lol

hope you're enjoying your time down on the ho'

in the mean time here are a couple more pics - one shows the route of the exhaust outside of the swingarm, and the second pic gives you a comparison with a single pipe rather than the twins.

That first pic is pretty clever, note also that the brake caliper is now below the axle. Nice work.
