OMG I'm going naked
Well folks after almost 5 years and 115,000km I now have a new addition to the bike stable. Still havent decided on what to do with the old one yet.
This is now the 5th Honda I've owned. I think a pattern is forming.
The engine is 1300cc of Silky smoothness. It has 80% torque at 2000rpm and will pull like a schoolboy even when in top gear at 60kph. Its a pity you guys in the US dont get this bike over there. 115hp at the rear wheel , but more importantly 120nm of torque which IIRC is almost 50% more the than CBR1000F.
Dont have a pic yet so I stole one.

Its chalk and cheese compared to the cane. The Cane feels like a rough high reving sports bike.
Its a very quiet bike with a deep base note rather than tinny note of sportsbikes. The 1300cc helps with this.
This thing with this is that no matter what revs you are doing its smooth as. Honda actually had to purposefully change the rear engine mount to give it some pulsing vibes. There is no snatchyness. The spread of torque is great.
The fromt end is very light compared to the cane. Much smaller turning circle as well. Comes up on the back easily.
It looks so much better in the flesh than in the pic. But mine also has polished wheels and a tiny screen. The engine cases all look like polished titanium.
I'm in love with the fuel injection. No matter how cold its just a single press of the button with no need to faf about with a chock. The guages are very high quality with blue backllight. They have dual tripmeters, LCD fuel, Countdown timer than can count down both distance and time.
This is not my bike below, but what is typical with a muffler + Power Commander
