After her first ride to work this morning i noticed a few drops of oil on my right boot.

seems to be coming from behind the right hand side round engine cover.

Will not know any more till the weekend when i strip her down to see whats going on.

If it's just the small cover then no biggie. A new gasket or a little sealer & it'll be good as new.

 

I found the oil leak, it seems to be coming from the small round metal cover, the cover which the black Honda cover bolts to.

What will be behind this cover when i pull it off

Crankshaft end. No bits in there to mess up. Just pull it off & 1. replace the gasket or 2. a lick of silicon.

 

Yup, Blue's right on the money as usual !
Just BTW over on the other side of the motor, there's another cover, just the same, where you adjust the timing. They come out with a large o-ring on the covers,(about 25mm or so) but a lick of silicone and you're good to go !
