Aye the salt is a killer, but if you look after your bike. Mine is stripped, cleaned every winter, so no excuse really to have corrosion. Saying that i am a bit OTT with looking after my bike, but that's the way i like it... Re my m8's sick CBR, he managed to get a coolant pipe local on ebay here. The pipe was like new. Now fitted, he also got a complete new exhaust system, which i also fitted last night. Nice clean Anti freeze put in. I also suggested that we put in fresh oil as the other stuff may have overheated. So today's job is an oil change, spray the engine and pipes with ACF50 which is a salt neutraliser. Give the bike a general check over, then rebuild and away we go.... Will give it a couple mile run then recheck the oil, water to make sure there are no problems after the burst pipe...

LOL , He needs to learn the ways of real CBR owners i think. I'll get him taught yet, or I'll confiscate his bike...
