It went on but ended well. NO damage, zero, nudda! Dude tried to punt me right off! Hands and feet were off the controls, *** up in the air, but it all worked out. Stay relaxed, keep your focus. I ALWAYS say THAT.

This thing was started by the blue R-6 failing to find his gear and slowing unexpectedly. I checked up and immediately got tagged. I never hit the guy in front of me although it was CLOSE, and I received NO damage. His bike hit my tire only, smearing the hot rubber smooth and with a red glazed look from his paint embedded in it.

The track photographer did a marvelous job catching all of that.

I've never been on a track, it sure looks like fun. Probably you only really learn what a bike will do on a track.

One of the guys I went on a summer trip with last year took his brand new GSXR1000 to Brands Hatch for a track day and fell off. Bruises and about £2500 damage to his bike. Ouch. Fairings sure are expensive. Did not stop him though :-) His tyres were ripped up right to the edge - no chicken strip whatsoever.
