Default No Lights

Ran my bike all morning, went to work and when I was leaving I am not getting any lights at all. Checked the battery and it has power. Checked all the fuses and they are fine. CA has been baking in the 100 temp area, dont know if that is a factor or not. Any other easy places I can check before running tests on all of the electrical?

I also am having a problem with my electrical. On my bike it's the indicator lights for the turns, highbeam, sidestand, neutral, and oil that aren't working. The headlight and tail light and the actual turn signals work just fine. Any ideas?

samron have you checked you bulbs and kill switch? I've hit the switch and not known it before,
and I've also had both bulbs go out at the same time.

Yeah I checked the kill switch, felt stupid that it wasn't the first thing I looked at.

Ground?
How did you check the battery? I assume that you metered across the posts and checked for voltage? Meter it again and use the frame as a ground.
Also isn't there a "main" fuse that feeds the fuse block? I think it's up by the fuse block and it's like a 30 amp or so.

The main fuse is on the right side of the bike underneath the fairing, right above the air intake. Checked it and it looked fine but I threw in the spare just in case. I did only check from terminal to terminal. I will check with a frame ground next.

Have you checked the bulbs yet? I had both of mine go out last
Sept within 5 minutes of each other. I thought I had a problem as
well, but thought what the heck and bought two bulbs and that was
it. Both bulbs worked when I left to go eat, got back on the bike
and I had neither.

Don'y worry about the kill switch, it's got a lot of us before.

Morning,
Had exactly same prob. On my FL it was the holder for the main fuse that had coroded through, and was stopping any power to the main systems. Easy fix, bought a £1 fuse holder from Halfords and unwired the main fus system and re-routed through the standard replacement cartridge fuse. Has worked perfectly for a year now. Hope you managed to get home :-(

Any one have any suggestions for me? I have headlights, tail lights, and turn signals, but none of the indicators on my "dash" work. Every once in a while the neutral will work or the right blinker will kind of flash on and off, but other than that no indicator lights.
