Default New seat on my 1000f-j

Had a new seat made for my 1000f-j, bought an old seat off Fleabay for £20 and had it re-profiled and re-covered at Bootleg Bike Seats in Preston, quite chuffed with the result, cost £85.

It lifts me up by an inch or so, so that in conjunction with my Buell footpeg mod and handlebar risers allows me to fit my old bones on her a bit easier.

Bootleg Bike Seats - 01772 251212,

Pics of the seat attached, very pleased......

Cheers, Steve

Haha, they did a great job, I tried it after the first lot of foam and it was too soft, I'm not exactly small and weigh in the region of 280lbs, so they ordered in some harder foam and it worked brilliantly, with me and the missus on board we must weigh a combined 400lbs and the seat is fantastic.

Shouldn't give the wife's weight away really but luckily she doesn't read this forum lol!!

Cheers, Steve
