Naga Thai - Down but not out....
Hi guys.
I haven't been around for the last 5 months or so. Been away touring on the bike. Did a trip around Tasmania and then touring back on Australian mainland..... until I dropped the bike.
Country road - inattention - my fault - didn't see hole in the road on a corner. Helmet then shoulder to the ground.... then the pain of ........... realization that I'd damaged the bike.
Been in hospital ... Shoulder, clavicle broken in 2 places, ribs and the usual sprains, bruises and abrasions. Good ridding gear though prevented any "road rash". I'm now on physio trying to get full movement back.
The bike? ... well..... I'm absolutely amazed how, with time, bones will heal themselves. However, I'm also sure that no matter how much time my damaged bike is given it's not going to heal itself. Not impressed Mr Honda
Now with one arm bound up, the other one hand and one finger typing .... I've been sourcing parts form around the world. New and NOS parts should start arriving from England, Poland, Malta, Japan, China, USA and some from here in Australia.
It won't be a total restore but it will certainly be a great "rehabilitation" to original appearance. As some of you know ... I like to keep my bikes stock.
Sorry - no pictures ( of broken bones ... or bikes) but I'll keep you updated on the bikes rehabilitation.
Apologies for my absence here. Cheers!

Hey Naga,
I am very, very happy to hear you are on the mend! And it is a total bummer to hear of your crash.
I'm sure your CBR is going to be in better condition than it was 10 feet before the crash by the time you've finished.
And I will say, you HAVE been missed.
Get well quick Mate and do post some pictures of the refurbishment please.
If only of all the new parts stacked up on the kitchen table as though it was Christmas!
Cheers, SB and Mrs SB (who sends hugs for your get well)
