The only blemishes I could find on it is on the tail light... A few scratches and that's it. I think I got really lucky finding this motorcycle when I did. And to think I was gonna "settle" for a Triumph Sprint ST lol

Welcome aboard, and nice bike! I have the same year model and color scheme. Mine has 65k miles and still running strong. I really like the linked brakes, but some dont like them and "de-link" them.

Thanks everybody
I was a little nervous about buying this bike. It's been about 20 years since I've ridden anything and that was a XR650 lol.... A "big" bike like this is a little intimidating, but I'm sure it'll be ok lol. I'm going to sign up for a basic rider course that happens in a couple weeks here in Kalispell

Great looking bike, +1 for being a bit intimidated, funny thing, my last bike before my 1000f was a ttr600, quite a bit different to a road bike but you will soon get used to and love the ride of these big old girls.

One step closer. Just got done ordering all my new riding gear. I love my wife! (she gave me "permission") so, about $1000 later, got a new helmet, jacket, pants, boots, gloves, etc. on the way..... The riding gear I have now wont work, since it's all offroad stuff for my atv lol
Leaving here in about 2 hours to go take the written test for my permit, pay the $2.50 for the endorsement and register for the MSF BRC. Busy and expensive day so far lol!
