5000 AUD = 3,286 USD.. so about the same... but like a said 3000+ USD is kinda too much $$ for a 1000F unless.. its in showroom condition.

Minimum full time wages are around the $15.oo per hr AUD+benefits
Me ..well I am a self employed Plumber (tradie) ...lets just say that I earn quite a bit more than those Ebinz...
but yer ..the exchange rates make the 4000-5000 pretty much the same cost to buy

Hey CBR,
Its was bloody great... Till the battery demons arrived.
Getting a new battery tomorrow and fitting a headlight on/off switch. Then we'll be humming...Lol... Fingers crossed.

Once its sorted i'll post some better pics and a bit of a story about the build including before and after pics.
I'm rather impressed with the outcome as its my first project... But def not the last.
Just cant wait to use it every day as the weather is great here at the mo.....

She does look much better and cleaner that she did a few weeks ago....

I've got a mate moving to Adelaide and had offered to put my bike into his container. Its tempting as it only owes me about $2500NZD. Prob worth about $5000NZD to sell. Not sure how to get it from Adelaide to Perth tho... Would ride it but won't have any rego.
